A resume is a brief document that summarizes your education, employment history, and experiences that are relevant to your qualifications for a particular job for which you are applying. When an applicant wants to build a good resume he/she should know the process about how to write a

1. Heading with personal contacts

3. Education
List your education starting with the most recent diploma or training course and working backwards. Include the name and city or town of each school you attended, the type of programs, your areas of interest and the years you have completE, all certificate or diplomas should also be listed, including those for mini courses like a computer or software course, first aid or any other training that might be useful in the job you are applying for.
4. Work Experience

If you are about to be graduated from college or are a recent college graduate, you may want to present information about your college activities, including honors, awards, club organization membership and position held in this club organization. The reader will be interested in this information as a way of assessing your leadership potential your ability to work well with others, and possibly your ability to communicate effectively.
7. Reference
A reference is someone that an employer can contact. Before give a reference in your resume you must get their permission to use them as a reference. Your reference list should have the same headings (name, contact information) as your resume.

5. Summary of Qualification
You have to list (in descending order of importance) the job skill / key
qualifications you have acquired either through your educational or work
experience that qualify you for the position for which you are applying.
6.Activities and Achievement
List the activities in which you have participated in college, such as
professional, civic, social, or academic groups, including the inclusive
dates of membership.
List your leadership responsibilities.
List your honors, awards(including scholarships), or achievements (both
academic and non academic) during the time you’ve been a member of these
group.
7. Special Interest
List your special interest (if sufficient space is available)
8. Reference
List the name , addresses, and telephone numbers of those serving as a
reference (if sufficient space is available) . Otherwise you can
indicate that “reference are available upon request,” or you can list
the name of the placement office from which letters of reference can be
obtained.
